Conventional Lawn Care Program: Our Process

Barefoot Lawns’ Conventional Lawn Care program uses market leading fertilizers and weed suppression products with every application. Our skilled and experienced technicians follow a similar schedule as our organic approach. Barefoot Lawn’s year-round conventional solutions begin in the spring as we “wake up” your property from its prolonged winter hibernation with a treatment that penetrates the lawn, delivering vital nutrients throughout the soil and roots for a prompt green up.

The Barefoot team continues our conventional treatment of your property throughout the warmer summer months, helping your grass remain vibrant in the high temperatures as well as ward off weeds, pests, and disease. We finish our treatments in late fall/early winter. The Barefoot team makes one final conventional treatment application to prepare the soil for sustainable health throughout the cold seasonal temperatures.

Aeration And Overseeding Services

At Barefoot Lawns, we recognize that conventional turf products sometimes need a little extra help to penetrate the soil and optimize final results. We highly recommend including aeration and overseeding services as an integral part of every conventional lawn care solutions. Barefoot Lawns will carefully evaluate your property for compacted soil, thatch buildup, and bare spots throughout the yard. From there, we will carefully create an aeration and overseeding strategy to distribute fertilizer and promote new growth for a dense, healthy, and robust lawn.
